Through storytelling, classic video footage, and family memorabilia, Kelly Carlin, the only child of iconoclastic comedian George Carlin, chronicles over forty years of her life with her famous father.

Kelly, host of the radio show Waking from the American Dream, author, and well respected storyteller, reveals what it was like to be swept up into the life and career of her father from his early days as a straight comic through his transformation into a counter culture hero and iconoclastic social commentator to the very last days of his life.

Join us for this funny, poignant and honest look at the man who not only redefined 20th century comedy, but inspired generations of comedy fans with such classic routines as Hippie Dippie Weatherman, Class Clown, The Seven Dirty Words, A Place for Your Stuff, and Modern Man.

Comic genius of George Carlin
Wonderful to get Carlin's back story and to remember some of the stages of his career that we may have forgot over the years. A genius performer without question; a real loss to comedy AND sociopolitical commentary. I could have easily listened to more and seen more footage; so much material ... it must have been hard to choose what to use and what to leave out. Any plans for a part Two? ...

Great insight into a brilliant mind- George Carlin
Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon! My friends and I thought this was such a treat- a keyhole view into a smart, funny, compassionate comedian and social commentator whose life ended all too soon. Merci encore!
