A walk down comedy lane
Great premiere of EAT DRINK LAUGH, the doc about the NY comedy club, The Comic Strip, last night at Cinema du Parc. The film producers, some of the (very recognizable) comedians who worked in the famous Comic Strip in NY, as well as one of the former owners, were on hand for a post-film talk back ... a fun & lively discussion after which they posed for photos in the lobby (we got kicked out of the screening room for the impatient "Taxi Driver" crowd waiting to get in) and a great flick w/clips of Eddy Murphy, Robin Williams, Chris Rock, and Jerry Seinfeld among many many others along with commentary from an impressive line-up of performers about fellow comedians, the club and its owners. This film taps into the zeitgeist of this particular comedy era (the 80s). If your a stand-up comedy fan, you'll want to catch this film for sure! Thanks ATUVU for making it available on your site.
