Italian Comedy “A Girl Named Ralph” Finally Plays Hometown
Montréal in the 2009 Fringe Festival.

After the huge success of the Toronto Fringe Festival, A Girl Named
Ralph returns to its roots of Montréal. Last year, Toronto's Metro
Newspaper named A Girl Named Ralph a "Best Bet" and Blog Toronto
says "This is a great show!" "It's honest and charming." says NOW
Magazine.

Written by Montréal-born playwright and stand-up comedian Raffaella
Diana, AGNR is playing this June, as part of the 2009 Montréal Fringe
Festival. A true to life comedy about a first generation Italian family
living in the heart of Montréal. Focusing on the family's business, a
small bakery where child labour, panini, and squirrel are on the menu, A
Girl Named Ralph is a play about passion, food, family, and the
immigrant experience through the eyes of the young girl behind the
counter.

The cast of AGNR dares you: Come out of your parent’s basement and
see what’s on offer at the 2009 Montréal Fringe Festival!

Playwright: Raffaella Diana. Director: Tanisha Taitt.
Cast: Monica Nunes, Sidonie Wybourn, Robert Bellissimo, Jon
DeSantis, Katie Calder, Lucy De Luca and Raffaella Diana.
Stage Manager: Amélie Perron
